To all year 7 for just being their fun twelve year old selves – don’t forget to go map reading, walking, exploring and questioning. Curiosity rules!
To all Year 8 - with special mentions to Sofia, Tiegan and Grace who organized the lovely card, chocs and flowers, and delivered a fiendishly hard Geoquiz.
To all 15 of the greatest year 10 anywhere, for the brilliant cards – and special mensh to Abi for the delicious Geographical cake, (and for following my advice to eat more providing you’ve made it yourself to avoid that artery blocking fructose syrup - Africa tasted great). Also to Dani for her persistence in the foot department and IT assistance in the face of an amateur (me), and for being half a fellow Brummie; Hannah for being a great DJ and quizmaster; Holly S for the fabulous photo card and being Most Improved Student; Holly M for best D of E and for being charming Holly; Krisha for her wit, humour and new resolutions (hit that target Krisha); Chloe for great drive, organization and setting the whole party in motion; Sophie Mo - Geographer of the Year and best File of the Year; Charlotte -Traveller of the Year and (let me know more about Canada, Charlotte, and your File too ….); Paulina - Thinker of the Year and Still Waters Award, Bridget - Writer of the Year (I expect to see you in print Bridget); Sophie T for being so sensible and asking such good questions; Ally who shares Geographer of the Year, and Best Musical Taste; Megan the Weathergirl and Presenter of the Year; and last but definitely not least, Felicity - the Geographer with the Most Potential, and the nicest of girls. Don’t show the grammar to Miss Danks!! This entry is ‘a stream of consciousness blog’ with better writing to come I hope.
Finally, to Year 12 - most sincere apologies for missing out on our final meeting due to the trip date change. I hope to see you again on Results Day and wish you all everything good in relationships and results, in that order.
